The AO Art Ball, one of our favourite NFT projects, has just opened up claiming for 2 x 7 Day Ground Passes for holders of 2022 AO Art Balls. Claiming is open until until 28 December 2022.
Holders can claim their double pass per Art Ball for up to 9 balls held, with each ground pass giving full access to the AO Precinct for the finals week of the Australian Open.
The AO Art Balls launched and sold out in minutes in 2022 and were one of the brightest spots of sports NFTs for the year, and continue to show how real world engagement and value can be driven with NFTs. The benefits were announced earlier this year.
The Art Balls are developed by Run It Wild, a Melbourne Blockchain business which was recently acquired by NFT Technologies, a Canadian publicly listed company.
Those lucky Art Ball holders can head over here to claim their ground passes. Those without an Art Ball can find them for sale on Opensea here. At the time of writing there were plenty of Art Ball's listed at USD$85 - USD$100, which looks to give pretty is below what the full price would be to buy a pair of week long ground passes.
